Terms of Use

You may create a page for a child only if you are that child's parent or legal guardian, or an adult family member the parent has authorized. You must be at least 18 years old. When you create a page you confirm that you have the right to share the content you upload, including photos.

If a parent asks us to remove a page created by someone else, we will unpublish it while we confirm the request.

You are responsible for keeping your password private and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access to it. We may suspend an account that is being used to break these terms or our Community Guidelines.

Families keep ownership of everything they upload. By posting content you give The Orange Glow Project permission to store, display, and reproduce that content only as needed to operate the feature and show the page the way you configured it. That permission ends for future uses when you delete the content or your page, other than copies in routine backups that age out.

We will not use a child's photo or story in marketing, fundraising, or social media without asking the family first.

• Follow the Community Guidelines when posting anything on the site.
• Do not attempt to access another family's page, account, or files.
• Do not scrape, bulk download, or republish content from this site.
• Do not upload malicious code or interfere with the operation of the site.
• Do not use the site to solicit, advertise, or fundraise.

We review new pages before they are published and we may remove content or unpublish a page that breaks these terms, is reported and appears unsafe, or is the subject of a credible legal complaint. We try to contact the page owner when we do this.

Information on this site, including resources and blog articles, is offered for general support. It is not medical advice, mental health treatment, legal advice, or a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger call 911, or call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

Donations to The Orange Glow Project support our programs and are generally not refundable. We will always try to correct a genuine mistake, so contact us if a donation was made in error.

Their Handprint is being introduced gradually and may change while we learn what families need. The site is provided as is, and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or that content will never be lost. Please keep your own copies of photos that matter to you, and use the export tool in the family dashboard to download your page.

To the extent allowed by law, The Orange Glow Project is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of this site, including content posted by other users. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You can ask us to close your account and delete your pages at any time. We may close an account that repeatedly breaks these terms.

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top of this page when we do. Questions can go to hello@orangeglow.org.
